Service: web apps, SaaS, internal tools, APIs
We design and build software around the way your team already works: a SaaS product, a customer portal, an internal system or the API behind it. Scope is written down before a line of code is billed.
Describe the problem → we scope the buildWritten milestones, demos along the way
Custom is not always the answer. These are the situations where it usually pays off.
Each engagement draws on the pieces below. You only pay for what the scope needs.
Multi-user products with authentication, roles, billing hooks and an admin side to run them.
Dashboards, back-office workflows and reporting that replace shared spreadsheets.
Clean REST APIs and connectors to payments, CRMs, ERPs and the tools you already pay for.
Step-by-step rewrites or wrappers that let an old system keep running while it is replaced.
Flutter or React Native apps that share the same backend as your web product.
Repository, deployment setup and documentation, so another developer can pick it up on day one.
This page is the overview. Every service below has its own page with scope, deliverables and questions answered. Find the row that matches your problem.
| If you need | Go to |
|---|---|
| A first release to test an idea | MVP development |
| A subscription product for many customers | SaaS development |
| An app in the iOS and Android stores | Mobile app development |
| A portal, dashboard or internal tool | Web application development |
| Systems that talk to each other | API development and integration |
| Repetitive work taken off your team | AI automation services |
| A site your team can edit | WordPress development |
| Behaviour WordPress does not have | Custom WordPress plugin development |
| A store, or gaps in one | Shopify app development |
| Software built around a young company | Software development for startups |
Most work is a scoped project: a written scope, milestones and an estimate in USD. When you need continuing capacity instead, there are three other models.
| Model | Fits when | Page |
|---|---|---|
| Fixed scope project | You can describe the outcome and it has an end | This page and the services above |
| Dedicated developers | You need steady capacity on your own roadmap | Hire dedicated developers |
| Staff augmentation | Your team needs one or two extra people, part time or full time | Staff augmentation |
| Managed offshore delivery | You want a remote team to run delivery for you | Offshore software development |
Custom software costs more to build and to maintain than a subscription tool, so it has to earn the difference. It usually does in three situations: your process is the product, an off-the-shelf tool forces workarounds that cost more each month, or the thing you need has to integrate with systems that no tool connects. If none of these fits, we say so and point you to the cheaper route.
We are a software engineering studio. We do not sell marketing results, we do not promise rankings or revenue, and we do not publish a price list. We write down the scope, the milestones and the estimate. You decide whether the paper matches your problem.
Price follows scope: features, platforms and integrations. The order is fixed. First a short discovery conversation, then a written scope with milestones, then an estimate in USD. If a request falls outside the scope later, we re-estimate it in writing before doing it. A budget range in the contact form is optional. We use it to propose a scope that fits, not to inflate the estimate.
Laravel, Node.js, React and Next.js for web applications. WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify for sites and stores. Flutter, React Native and progressive web apps for mobile. PostgreSQL and MySQL for data. REST APIs and webhooks for integrations, OpenAI and Claude APIs for AI features. The stack follows the people who will maintain the product, not the trend of the month.
The stages are laid out on the process page, and delivered projects are on the work page. To learn who we are, see about techcraftz.
They are the design, build, launch and handover of software made for one organisation’s needs, as opposed to a packaged product sold to everyone. Typical outputs are web applications, mobile apps, integrations and automations.
Price follows scope: features, platforms and integrations. After a short discovery call you get a written estimate in USD. There is no price list, because no two builds match.
Founders validating a product, small and mid-size companies replacing spreadsheets, and teams stuck on a legacy system. It is also for agencies and in-house teams that need build capacity.
Describe the problem, not the fix you imagine. Get a written scope for your custom software development project.
Every stage ends with something concrete, so you always know where the project stands.
We learn your goals, users and constraints, then define what success looks like.
You get a written scope, milestones and estimate before any build work starts.
We develop in short increments, with working demos you can try along the way.
We launch, hand over everything and stay available for what comes next.
Chosen for your needs and budget, not for trends.
We start with a short discovery conversation, then send a written scope: features, milestones and an estimate in USD. You can review, cut or reorder it before anything is built.
Often, yes. We review the code first and tell you plainly whether to extend it, refactor it or rebuild parts of it. That review is part of discovery, not a surprise later.
No. We recommend one based on your product, your team and how long you expect to maintain it, and explain the trade-offs in plain language.
Short increments with a recorded demo at the end of each, a shared task board and written updates. Calls are optional and scheduled around your time zone.
You do. Repositories, infrastructure accounts and documentation are handed over at the end, and NDA on request, before you share details.
Yes. Fixes and updates can continue after go-live, and larger features are scoped as a separate phase with their own milestones.
A few lines about the problem is enough. We reply with questions and a proposed first step.
Fill in the short form below. We will reply with questions or next steps and, once the scope is clear, a written estimate.
