MVP development services for founders
MVP development services from a remote GMT+7 team. Written scope, milestones and demos, a first release real users can test, and you own the code.
You have an idea, a spreadsheet that stopped scaling, or a prototype nobody can maintain. You need a first release that real users can touch, not a twelve-month build. MVP development is the work of cutting the product down to the one workflow that proves or kills the idea, then building that workflow properly.
We scope the MVP in writing, build it in short increments, and hand over the code, the hosting accounts and a ranked backlog for version two.
What an MVP engagement delivers
- A written scope. One user, one job, one path to value. What is in, and what is explicitly out.
- A prototype of the core flow. Wireframes or a clickable prototype, only when the flow is unclear enough to need one.
- A working release. Sign-up and login, the core workflow, a basic admin view and the analytics events you will want on day one.
- Deployment on your accounts. Repository, hosting, domain and database are yours from the first commit.
- A version-two backlog. Ranked by what the first users actually did, not by what the room argued about.
How we decide what goes in
The rule is simple: if the first users can complete the core job without it, it waits. Most of the scoping effort goes into saying no, in writing, so the build stays small.
| In the MVP | Left for version two |
|---|---|
| Email sign-up and login | Social login, SSO, team invitations |
| One core workflow, start to finish | A second user role and its screens |
| An admin view to see and fix data | Analytics dashboards and exports |
| One payment method, if you charge | Multi-currency, invoices, tax rules |
| Manual back-office steps | Automation of those steps |
The table is an example, not a template. Your scope will differ, and the written version names your cuts, not generic ones.
When you do not need custom development yet
Sometimes the cheapest MVP is not software. A landing page with a waitlist, a no-code tool, a WordPress plugin or a Shopify theme can test demand first. If one of those answers your question, we say so during discovery and you spend nothing on a build you did not need. If the idea survives the test, the scope you wrote becomes the brief for the real thing.
How the build runs
- Brief and discovery. You describe the user, the problem and any deadline. We ask what we need to estimate honestly.
- Written scope and estimate. Features, milestones and a USD estimate. You review, cut or reorder before anything is built.
- Increments. Each increment ends with a recorded demo you can try yourself. Updates are written, so time zones do not block progress.
- Launch. Deployment to your accounts, with monitoring and a rollback path.
- Handover. Repository, deployment notes and documentation, so another developer can pick it up on day one. Post-launch fixes and the next phase are scoped separately.
The full sequence, with what you receive at each stage, is on the process page.
Stack, ownership and NDA
We pick the stack for the team that will maintain the product: Laravel, Node.js, React or Next.js for web, Flutter or React Native when the MVP is mobile first, PostgreSQL or MySQL for data. We explain the trade-off in plain language and you decide. The code lives in your repository from the first commit. If you want an NDA before sharing details, ask and we sign before you send anything.

Frequently asked questions
What does MVP stand for in development?
Minimum viable product. It is the smallest release that lets real users complete one valuable task. You learn from their use instead of guessing.
What are MVP development services?
A scoped build of that first release: discovery, prototype where needed, development, launch and handover. The output is working software and a backlog, not a slide deck.
How much does MVP development cost?
It depends on scope: user roles, integrations and platforms. After a short discovery call you receive a written estimate in USD. We do not publish a price list, because no two MVPs match.
Can you take over an MVP another team started?
Often, yes. We review the code first and tell you whether to extend it, refactor it or rebuild parts of it. That review comes before you commit to a build scope.
Do I own the code?
Yes. Source code, repositories, domains and service accounts are handed over to you. NDA on request.
Can we work across time zones?
Yes. Our team works in GMT+7 and runs async by default: written updates, recorded demos and a shared task board. Calls are optional and scheduled around your day.
