SaaS development services for product teams
SaaS development services: multi-tenant architecture, billing, roles and admin, built in increments by a remote GMT+7 team. You own the code.
A SaaS product is a web application plus the machinery that lets many customers share it safely: tenancy, subscriptions, roles, an admin side and a way to see what went wrong. Most of the cost sits in that machinery, not in the first feature. We build it deliberately, in increments, and write down each decision that will be expensive to reverse.
What a SaaS build includes
- Tenancy model. How customer data is separated: a shared database with tenant keys, a schema per tenant, or a database per tenant. We recommend one and state the trade-off.
- Accounts and roles. Sign-up, login, password reset, invitations, role-based access, and an audit trail for sensitive actions.
- Billing hooks. Subscription states (trial, active, past due, cancelled) tied to a payment provider such as Stripe or Paddle, plus plan limits enforced in the product.
- Onboarding. The first-run path that gets a new account to its first useful result.
- Admin side. Your team can look up an account, change a plan, reset access and see errors without touching the database.
- Operations. Backups, error tracking, structured logs, staging and production environments, and a deployment you can repeat.
- Data rights. Export and deletion of a customer’s data, designed in rather than patched on, because your first European customer will ask.
Decisions that are costly to reverse
These are decided early, in the written scope, with the reasoning attached.
| Decision | Why it matters later |
|---|---|
| Tenancy model | Changing it after launch means migrating live customer data |
| Plan and limit structure | Pricing experiments need limits that are configuration, not code |
| Auth approach | SSO and team invitations are far cheaper to design in than to add |
| Background jobs | Billing, emails and imports need a queue from the start |
| Audit and export | Enterprise buyers ask for both before they sign |
SaaS versus a custom web application
If you serve one company, you are building a web application, not SaaS. The web application development page covers that. SaaS adds the multi-customer layer. If you are still proving that anyone will pay, start with an MVP: one tenant model, one plan, billing last. We will tell you honestly if the full SaaS layer can wait.
How the build runs
- Brief and discovery. Who the customers are, what they pay for, which integrations are non-negotiable.
- Written scope and estimate. Architecture summary, milestones and a USD estimate. Reviewed and adjusted before building.
- Foundation increment. Accounts, tenancy, roles and deployment first, so every later feature sits on a tested base.
- Feature increments. Each ends with a recorded demo on staging that you can use.
- Billing and launch. Payment provider connected, plans live, monitoring on.
- Handover. Repository, infrastructure accounts and documentation in your name. We stay available for fixes and the next phase.
Stack
Laravel or Node.js on the back end, React or Next.js on the front end, PostgreSQL or MySQL for data, REST APIs and webhooks for integrations. If you plan a mobile client later, the API is designed for it from the start. The stack follows who will maintain the product, not what is fashionable.

Frequently asked questions
What is SaaS application development?
It is building software that many customers use over the internet under a subscription. The work covers the product itself plus multi-tenancy, billing, roles, administration and operations.
What do SaaS development services cost?
Price follows scope: features, integrations, tenancy model and compliance needs. After a short discovery call you get a written estimate in USD. Compare it. Then decide. No public price list exists, because no two products match.
Do you only build SaaS from scratch?
No. We also extend or stabilise an existing product. We review the code first and tell you plainly whether to extend, refactor or rebuild parts of it.
Which tenancy model do you recommend?
It depends on customer count, data sensitivity and how much isolation buyers demand. A shared database with strict tenant keys suits most early products. Higher isolation costs more to run. The written scope states our recommendation and the reason.
Who owns the code and the customer data?
You do. Repositories, infrastructure accounts, domains and documentation are handed over. NDA on request, before you share details.
Can you keep running the product after launch?
Yes. Fixes and updates continue after go-live, and larger features are scoped as a separate phase with their own milestones.
