Privacy policy
How techcraftz.com handles personal data: what we collect through the contact form and email, why, how long we keep it, and your rights under GDPR.
Last updated: 14 October 2026.
This policy explains what personal data techcraftz.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written in plain language. The operator of this website is techcraftz.com (“we”, “us”). To reach us about privacy, use the address at the end of this page.
What we collect
We collect only what you send us or what a web server records when you visit.
- Contact form and email. If you contact us, you give us the details you choose to write: usually your name, email address, company, project type, budget range, timeline and a message.
- Server logs. Like any website, our server records technical data about each request: IP address, the page requested, date and time, browser and device type, and the page that referred you. This is standard and is used for security and troubleshooting.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data. Please do not put it in a message.
How the contact form works
At the time of writing, the form on this website does not send data to our server. It prepares an email in your own email app, addressed to us, and nothing leaves your device until you press send in that app. The same applies if you click our email address.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not run advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use analytics tools on this website at the time of writing.
- We do not use your data for automated decisions or profiling.
- We do not load third-party scripts, fonts or embedded content that would let other companies track you on this site.
Why we use your data, and the legal basis
| Purpose | Basis under GDPR |
|---|---|
| Answering your enquiry and preparing a proposal | Steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying |
| Running a project and keeping records | Performance of a contract, and legal obligations |
| Keeping the website secure and working | Our legitimate interest |
If we ever rely on your consent for something else, we will ask for it clearly, and you may withdraw it at any time.
Who receives your data
- Email. Messages sent to our address pass through Cloudflare Email Routing and are delivered to a mailbox hosted by Google.
- Cloudflare. We use Cloudflare to manage the domain’s DNS and email routing.
- Hosting. The website runs on a virtual private server that we operate.
- Authorities. Only where the law requires it.
We do not share your data with anyone else, unless you ask us to, for example by naming someone to copy into a project conversation.
Where your data goes
We are a remote team working from Indonesia. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or elsewhere with data transfer rules, your data is processed outside your country, including in Indonesia and in the countries where Cloudflare and Google operate. Where the law requires safeguards for the transfer, we rely on appropriate ones. Ask us if you want details.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects: for as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of the conversation, then deleted.
- Project records: for the length of the project and afterwards for as long as needed for support, accounting and legal obligations.
- Server logs: only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner. We will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct data that is wrong;
- delete your data;
- limit how we use it;
- send it to you in a portable format;
- stop using it where we rely on legitimate interest;
- withdraw consent you gave.
You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We would like the chance to fix the problem first, so please contact us.
Security
We limit access to the mailbox and the server, keep software updated and use encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
Children
This website is for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to other websites, such as the projects on our work page. Those sites have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be visible on this page.
